Grand Theft Auto IV
I decided to buy the Grand Theft Auto IV PC game after reading several reviews about the change in direction they were provide. This game is PHENOMENAL; from the start of your first step into the gameplay you will just be shocked away for the following reasons:
The Good:
Graphics:
although this Grand Theft Auto IV version is played on 640p and is upscale, this is a BEAUTIFUL game on graphic enhancement. It is been supported by the best and most light effects and natural looking water I’ve ever seen. The photo-realistic look effect can we get from their cell-shade on everything to make it become real. Few times I spend to stop and just stare at the waves or park and watch the sunlight hitting the road as it sets. Seriously, this Grand Theft Auto IV looks incredible.
Story:
The character voice acting is usually stays on-the-whole of top notch. When things happen to the main characters I actually have an emotional response, which is no small feat. To make choices about someone fait to be lives or dies is one part of this Grand Theft Auto IV happening. Struggling with our self decision is one of extraordinary feature that can not be found in many games. I thought was to much obsess on my character. The live interaction between people and plot elements is extremely built very well.
Gameplay:
Instructions are provides to help you when you first start of this Grand Theft Auto IV which means that everything is easy to go. What’s nice is that they eliminated all the tedious elements from the earlier entries in the series. No more being forced to drive twenty minutes across town to do a mission, no more going to the gym to lift weights and other bored thing to do. Finally, you can take a cab and skip the driving when you are in a rush.
What’s really cool is that they made your cell phone the menu for this Grand Theft Auto IV. It works fantastically well because you never have to break the game world or lose your suspended disbelief. Want to check in with a character? Call them up and watch Niko talk to them while he walks around the city. Want to call an ambulance? Dial 911. It’s just a groundbreaking way to bring cohesion to this generation of video games.
Multiplayer:
Whip out your cell phone in the single player and hop right in to over 14 game Grand Theft Auto IV modes if your want to play with multi players mode. This is so fun I can’t even describe it. Imagine running around New York with 15 friends and playing paintball in the streets. Hangman’s Noose mode and Team death match is insanely fun, where you and 3 friends escape a police shootout at the airport. I think the multi player is where this Grand Theft Auto IV PC game moves from great to historic. To just be able to hop into the whole of Liberty City and do ANYTHING is so fun and chaotic words can’t describe it. Just last night, I joined Free Mode of Grand Theft Auto IV, where there are no rules. I proceeded to blow up 3 cop cars and run over a flock of pedestrians before getting plowed over by another player who had stolen a commuter bus and was on a rampage in downtown Liberty City. That was just the first 10 minutes. And I was having a blast that even my wife couldn’t turn away from.
The Verdict:
The only drawback I’ve seen is that sometimes the character will go through walls or the computer characters will act stupidly by driving into a wall for infinity. This Grand Theft Auto IV is virtually flawless.
That said, the sheer freedom and realism of this Grand Theft Auto IV game signal a landmark in gaming and anyone who likes video games should buy this Grand Theft Auto IV. It is the most fun I’ve ever had in a game and is going to provide me with 100s of hours of entertainment for sixty bucks. Other game designers should take note of that price when they release their next 6 hour single player game. I think I want to buy the Grand Theft Auto IV Special Edition as well.
